All i can say is that i hope sammy somes out with something similar to this in a windows 8 tablet or even an adroid tablet. The thing that makes me excited about apple making a higher resolution tablet is other manufacturers doing the same thing only with better operating systems.

This doesn't always happen though. We didn't see any Android phones with the iPhone 4's pixel density until over a year after it was out. Same thing could happen here: Apple goes for the big jump in resolution, other manufacturers go for a more gradual increase.

what the hell!. ok so what the ipad 3 will have retina display. The ipad 4 will have some other unexpected feature and the one after that will do the same. They are sucking us in with all these newer gadgets to all the older gadgets then selling the older gadgets cheap and to get your business...smart bastards..lol

If the ipad 3 isn't quad core its not worth getting. Might as well wait it out for the ipad 4. Problem solved.

Any single parts of Apple's iPad will hit the headline.

I hate when I see an article stating a confirmation and then ending with a question mark.

Question mark headlines are very overused these days.

"Dual LED display technology"

This one interests me ...

Right now tables are fairly foreground applications only. Yes ... apps can run in the background ... but you only ever see one app running at a time.

It would be "nice" for a tablet to see multiple apps on the screen at once ... split screen (half, quarter, custom) ...

I wonder if that is what Apple is going to push this time around ... "now you can see all your apps running" ... true multiprocessing???

No, apple is not capable of making something so innovative
