Report: iOS devices failed more often than Android units did during Q3

The latest report from Blannco Technology Group revealed that 62% of Apple iPhone and Apple iPads suffered failures in the third quarter. That compares to the 47% failure rate tallied by Android devices. Apps crashed on 65% of iOS powered units compared to just 25% of Android models. The breakdown for the iOS devices shows the Apple iPhone 6 with a leading 13% failure rate, followed by the Apple iPhone 6s (9%)...

I guess you never made a single typo in your entire life, entire 12 years of it.

He definitely has, along with not knowing what punctuation is.

It's been A LONG TIME SINCE ANDROID HAD AN ADOPTION RATE (actually NEVER) OF NEW UPDATE OS WITH NEW UPDATED APKS to make this remotely fair. Take 100 devices running nugat and all will have issues with either apps or native software - guaranteed!

Yea, but I would rather have a functional phone than a number update in settings somewhere. iOS updates don't really add anything but seem to take a lot away.

My devices are all functioning just fine - better than any android device I've ever used. The rest of your post is utter BS too.

The situation will be more worse for APPLE if we only consider high-end android devices...

You can rule that out. I'm not sandboxing myself because YOU don't like Apple.

This article is FAKE!! Blanco Tech Group is a paid off data analytic company which has ZERO credibility.

Ssshhh! Posting facts and links to back up your statement isn't prevalent here. You're making too much sense.

Burn!!! lol, though to be honest this has been a trend since the days of Lollipop. http://www.phonearena.com/news/Android-5.0-Lollipop-crashes-less-than-iOS-8-report-says_id65968

True. I don't have the technical know-how to explain it, but it may be due to the fact that Android apps are built for a multitude of hardware options, making them more stable. Someone'll correct me if I'm wrong...

I'm no developer, but to me, it would make more sense if iOS were more stable as you have fewer hardware variables to worry about as the OS is restricted to a single brand.

I was just about to say the exact same thing. Apple has much better control over what apps get into their App Store, as well as a more stringent set of requirements to follow. Add that to the fact that Apple has much less hardware to build apps for than Android, and apps *should* crash less on iOS.

Nothing is exempt from failure today. As you can see, both sides have their fair share of problems.

Post the link where I said that there are things exempt from failure. I'll wait... Or are you just responding to me in an attempt to pick a fight because I mentioned Apple in a way you don't approve of, as you are apparently doing to just about everyone here that mentioned Apple in a way you obviously don't approve of?

Lol, it's obvious that you're projecting, as you're the only one on the defensive here. One needs only check this article and my point is proven. You're attacking everyone that posts something that you don't agree with. And this article that you so happily provided a link for, my point is proven again: http://www.phonearena.com/news/BlackBerrys-DTEK-app-is-giving-users-incorrect-device-status-following-Android-update_id87889 You went on the attack as soon as you started commenting there. You serve no purpose except to stir the pot, and comments 21 and 32 explain it best about you.

I'm not projecting at all. It's just you not wanting to hear the truth and the cold hard FACTS. If anyone is project projecting, that would be you.

165. meanestgenius

Nah, you're projecting, because the FACTS are that you're in defense mode of your deity and attacking everyone that says something about Apple that you don't agree with. All anyone has to do is read the comments here to see that. But don't let the truth get in the way of a good story.

Yes. But Apple should be having less problems and they arent. It's like Linux having more problems vs Windows.

"I'm no developer," No one said you were, but thanks for confirming your lack of credibility.

No, I was simply coming to a conclusion based off of logic and common sense you brainless twat.
