Last week, we passed along a report stating that on March 27th, Microsoft would finally release a version of Microsoft Office for the Apple iPad. Sure enough, a report published on Wednesday confirms that tomorrow, Microsoft will live stream the event starting at 10am PDT/1pm EDT. The announcement will be made by Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella...

yeah, kind of odd, but it tells you that Microsoft is kind of giving up. Luckily, I have alternative apps that work well...

Decline? They hardly sell any. Besides, those who need Office for productivity reasons are still going to order full Win 8 tablets (though maybe not surface). It's still the only truly productive OS on a tablet.
