Be smarter to just buy an established company.

Chip companies are more rare than battery companies so that wouldn't surprise me.

I don't know if you're serious, but actually that's not a bad idea.

I hope they do try to make thier own APPLE battery. Then I hope they get sued at every turn for patent infringement.

Hopefully all the battery companies come up with a very well worded patent that covers everything...including the shapes of them.

Apple should sever ties, if this partnership is no longer amicable. All this bad blood between them, which personally I think could be worked out is now at a boiling point. This is gonna have a negative effect on the tech world, not just apple, and sammys users. I wish all this could b resolved in a friendly way, but sadly as huge fan of both of these companies I don't think it can

Apple has no choice when manufacturer says sorry no more of batteries from us ... that's what happened in this case ... though title of article makes it look as if Apple severed the ties.

Agreed. Imagine all that money that was wasted on litigation going into actual R & D.

Yeah bro this sucks to me. I'm a fan of tech period and jus wish all this money was out into products, instead of court cases

apple just want more money ending ties with Sammy is not to their advantage otherwise they would not be in a business relationship in the first place. Apple fan has zero logic and are so emotional about their apple toys.

Open your eyes, apple fans. You have been screwed by apple for so many years!!!

Are you reading your stuff or just blowing it out. Sammy wanted more money sammy cut them off so what are you saying here. Yeah they have alot of B.S. between them and no one wants to settle so when this blows up every one will feel it. Apple has the loot to build their own plants here or China they just dont want to. Sammy can go it alone also. They are each other biggest asset now its time to see where all this goes.

I am glad by this move.. by the way Apple and Samsung is handling this.. I don't see ending any other way. they will both recover from this and will make awesome devices... and no more courts...

It's going to be a long time before all this court bs is done, and a ton of money wasted by both that could go to R&D to make some seriously good tech. Such a shame it has to happen this way.

I don't want to make look like a conspericy
but I think apple suied Samsung and they already had a replacement for it
otherwise apple must be reeeeeealy stupid to sue the company that's providing almost all the important parts display battery processor
maybe not maybe apple is just greedy

So basically its just a civil war between the two. The iPhone isn't anything but a Samsung phone due to the fact Samsung makes all their hardware. lol

If apple did not sue Samsung, no body would know that their beloved iPhone is actually a samsung phone with a half eaten apple logo.

Exactly I think Apple only sued Samsung because they were the head honcho in that situation.

SAMSUNG did the right thing, there is no sense to do business with the company that cut your throat for $1.05 billion lawsuits and banned your products from selling. Samsung must stop supplying every components and parts now, if Apple is not dropping all lawsuits and clear $1.05 billion that Apple won in U.S. lawsuits.

Sammy made the apple processors based on the design that apple provided them. Apple stated on many interviews here that there is no facility in the U.S. that can make them not even Texas Instruments. So no it is not a sammy design or product they are a plant making apple parts. It does it say samsung on the apple processors does it. Sammy makes displays for alot of companies and batteries so apple is not different. People talk like apple went down the aisle at the sammy store and put a phone together.
