Recently introduced Samsung Galaxy J7 Max announced as the Galaxy On Max in India
Last month, the Samsung Galaxy J7 Max was unveiled in India. Today, the very same phone was introduced again in the same country, but with a different name. As the Samsung Galaxy On Max, the handset becomes a Flipkart exclusive in India. The online retailer has the phone priced at Rs 16,900. With the current exchange rate, that works out to a price of $261 USD for the model, which will go on sale Monday, July 10th. Pay for the phone using a Standard Chartered credit or debit card, and you can take $31 off of the price.

The highlight of the phone is what Sammy is calling a "flagship camera." This would be the 13MP rear camera with an f/1.7 aperture. With the latter, Samsung brags about the quality photos than can be shot under low light conditions. The 13MP front-facing camera  has an aperture of f/1.9 which will allow users to snap selfies in the dark. The Social Camera Mode allows users to produce live stickers with the cameras, and pin their favorite contacts to the cameras to quickly share photos and videos with them.

The Samsung Galaxy On Max features a 5.7-inch LCD screen with a 720 x 1280 resolution (HD). Driving the device is the Media Tek Helio P20 SoC (MT6757 chipset) carrying an octa-core 2.3GHz CPU and the Mali-T880 MP2 GPU. 4GB of RAM is inside along with 32GB of native storage (23.9GB is available to the user). A 256GB capacity microSD slot is available to those seeking additional storage. Keeping the lights on is a 3300mAh battery, and the device will be offered in Black and in Gold with Android Nougat pre-installed. The phone does come with Samsung Pay Mini, allowing users to make mobile payments.
