Deep Silver FISHLABS launched Galaxy on Fire 3 – Manticore on iOS devices back in December, but Android players were promised their own version two months ago when the developer opened up pre-registration on Google Play.

Although the developers promise intense space fights in stunning environments, the game barely runs within the parameters on some of the latest flagships available on the market like the Samsung Galaxy S8, Pixel XL, and OnePlus 3T.

If you have an older smartphone, you might experience low fps (frames per second) or it might not be compatible with the game at all.

In any case, if you haven't played any of the previous Galaxy on Fire games, you might want to know that this is a sci-fi shooter that requires players to show their piloting skills in a wide range of activities.

You'll be dogfighting fierce enemies, dodge missiles while blasting the shields of giant space stations. Accept contracts, choose your ship and meet your destiny in space. Now, the graphics are amazing, as the game features support for Vulkan, which is one of the reasons it has such high hardware requirements.

It's also worth mentioning Galaxy on Fire 3 – Manticore is available for free, but it's fully packed with in-app purchases. Also, you should expect some ads to affect your gameplay experience as well.
