I think that's pure jealousy and hatred that you have in side you. Apple build up their company from the scratch. They didn't but everything like Google bought Android. And they always offer a unique experience everytime they announce a product. That's why they have a monopoly and that's why they have such loyal sheeps. Apple is a true innovator of the consumer products. They make trends while other companies like Qualcomm make components for them. Android is nothing but a poorly executed, cheap, stolen concept. Samsung is nothing but a component developer. Google is nothing but a big advertising agency. Qualcomm is nothing but a patent troll.

In your words, Apple is nothing but a branding company.

Out of those 800$, what sum of money do you think they charge for iOS and the services related to it (the os, the cloud, the mail, office tools etc are also costing Apple money, even though they are "free" for the user)?

IOS doesn't cost them jack. IOS 1 -7 were like more similar than Android 1.0 to 2.0. Doesn't cost them jack, the major software development costs are done and well behind them ages ago.

You mean to tell us that those programmers that are writing iOS are working for free, the cloud servers cost jack - no electricity, no maintenance, no personnel - email servers, algorithms etc are also free?

Apple agreed to pay a fair price first as licensing fees. They didn't agree to pay what ever the price Qualcomm want them to pay. Everytime when Qualcomm gets greedy over night why should Apple pay up just for the patents they hold? At least if it is some hardware components it's understandable. I think Apple should demolish Qualcomm just like they did with Samsung in the court.

"unlawful and unfair." Said who patented "rectangle with rounded edges".

Actually, the article stated that's Qualcomm's saying.

Been using the 810 for 15 months. No heat, no issues, no lags. Haters say bad things just because 810 is much stronger than exynos 7420.

Yeah yeah, 810 is the best. 7420 is the worst! That was your point, right? I wrote it for you. The End.

These people are such clowns. They do realize QC is the reason behind the lack of competition regarding both mobile processors AND modems, right? They are also the reason why Exynos processors aren't bring used regularly in the West. Guess that doesn't matter... as long as they are against Apple. Kinda how Trump supporters would let him s**t in their mouths as long as liberals could smell it. Utterly disgusting...

Yet the S6 wirh th3 7420 was the best phone of that year though. Being better at something is nkt enough when other phones are betterat more things. The Exynos advantage is its more efficient and lbo es last longer too. After all, the Exynos variants of all of Samsung phones were more efficient than those thst use thr SnapDragon. The SD os great of games and graphics intensive stuff.the Exynos allows power foe more featurez, buhasess drain to run them all. All the phones uaing the 7420 we all QHD phones, the 810 was powerikg FHD devices too. And still the 7420 was more efficient, whixh matters more with a phone that does a lot. The SD advantage is graphics and its modems. Exynos is more effocient under mucu heavier loads and at high clock speed.

Love all the whining about Apple being overpriced. You think they could have ACTUAL stores in every major city and pay all those employees and still keep costs the same as the competition? If I have issues with an iPhone, i can easily make an appointment and go to an apple store to get it taken care of. You know what happens if my V20 starts acting up? I get to go to my carrier or mail my phone in to LG (then being without a phone) and maybe get a refurb at best. So much complaining and so little thinking

Looks to me like you have fallen victim to the 'perceived value' phenomenon that overcomes many iPhone users..."I pay more because it will give me a better phone :)". I've been with Android since the beginning and currently on my sixth handset - started with the HTC Dream, then I got the HTC Magic for free because the dream couldn't be updated past 1.6 or something like that, then I got the Dell Streak just because I wanted a big phone with a 5" screen for my big hands - but I lost it, then I got the HTC One X (this phone ended up having a defective capacitive button - my carrier Rogers sent me a replacement (they asked for the defective one back after I received the new one) which worked flawlessly until I smashed the screen, then onto the Moto X which was also a good phone until I smashed the screen lol, and now I'm rocking a Moto Nexus 6 that I've had for 3 or 4 years now. I don't need a big flashy store with a 'genius bar' to get set up with the phone I need or customer service I require. Sounds like owning an iPhone can be a very troublesome experience...also sounds like your carrier sucks.

You are taking this way out of context. thats not what he said. He is just mentioning that if you have issues you can get it taken care of (or replaced) SAME DAY! And believe it or not, that is a HUGE plus for owners of Apple products becasue even though we pay more for it, the Customer support makes it worth it.

"He is just mentioning that if you have issues you can get it taken care of (or replaced) SAME DAY!" Same applies to devices I purchase from stores here in Canada. If I have a warranty with the store and my device is defective, I can get same day replacement. That's pretty standard with most devices here, nothing exclusive to apple as you seem to think.

You have to pay a monthly fee from the store you purchased it at and even then, you think the store will have parts lying around for an outdated phone? You're reaching way too far. Hate the iPhone because it's not your preference but there is no service even remotely close to what apppe has for its customers- especially mobile phones.

"You have to pay a monthly fee from the store you purchased it" Depends on which store you bought the device and warranty from. Regardless, is apple care free? "you think the store will have parts lying around for an outdated phone" Does apple still replace damaged iphone 4s with brand new ones for free? "Hate the iPhone because it's not your preference but there is no service even remotely close to what apppe has for its customers- especially mobile phones." Sure, keep telling yourself that if it makes you happier with your overpriced purchase. Ignorance is a bliss :)

Seems like apple has really done a great job into making their customers believe they invented same-day replacement warranties. Their marketing is just outstanding.

"If I have issues with an iPhone, i can easily make an appointment and go to an apple store to get it taken care of." You talk as if that's how it is everywhere the iPhone is sold, whereas the reality is, that's only available in 22/196 countries, and that's only ~450 stores. Chinese companies like Huawei have over 35,000 stores world wide, but do you see them selling overpriced devices like apple here? Apple isn't providing anything special as you seem to think, merely master marketing, and you seem to have fallen victim to it.

"Victim" lol. There's a reason why it's the most popular phone on the planet.

Yeah, the same reason gangnam style was the most popular song on the planet once... because people are idiots

You counterculture emo snowflakes are such f**king parasites. Like seriously, did you just insult people because they like to buy things that are popular with THEIR money? Jesus Christ... take your neckbeard and gluten free tacos back to 4chan.

Youre too stupid to even understand what's so stupid about their, and your, logic, huh? That's truly something else.... here let me try and simplify it as much as i can for you, little guy "Like seriously, did you just insult people because they like to buy things that are popular with THEIR money?" No. I insulted them because they seem to think popularity = quality. McDonald's sells the best burger ever, huh? But then again, any idiot who defends any brand, as if they created and own the company, is something else. Does Apple sponsor you, or something? You get kickbacks for every post where you lose your $h1t defending them? I cant imagine even coming close to caring that much about any brand.

Probably 'cause you're comparing every iPhone sold as 1 device to individual OEM devices. When you do the proper comparison of iphones to galaxys, Samsung's galaxy line of devices are easily more popular. Regardless, how does a device being popular imply you're not a victim of great marketing? The fact that you actually think that changes anything only makes you come across as gullible. Beats by Dre are also popular, thanks to the same thing; outstanding marketing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZsxQxS0AdBY Doesn't mean they offer any added value when compared to the reasonably priced competition.
