Damage control? Impressive would have saw a '14 Q3 launch of the 810. Not Q2 of '15, then a quick leak showing newest hopefuls. That could do some extra harsh damage if not realized on time. Got complacent and fell behind. I prefer a QC soc over a Exynos but I think Exynos may just mop it up this year.

Exynos is quite capable of doing the same as SD, Alpha is the example.

Exynos is much better than Snapdragon. Everyone wants a Exynos SOC with built in LTE.

but exynos phone usually doesnt has many dev to build rom(stable rom) for it

Exynos Gpu is trash. The Note 4 Exynos is behind the adreno 420 and Apple A8

The adreno 330 578mhz does 158 gflops, times that by 1.3 and the adreno 420 should have somewhere near 205 gflops, times that by 1.4 (1.7 over 330 sd801 version) and get the 430 which does only 287.5 gflops. The Mali t760 does 326.4 gflops. The tegra k1 Kepler GPU does 365 gflops. More like Adreno is trash kid.

Comparing the Note 4 Snapdragon and Exynos versions the Snapdragon is ahead of the Exynos version in every graphics test. Exynos is ahead in CPU though.

That's because he GPU is clocked 100Hz lower, if it was on par it beats he Adreno. That's like not far. Its like a 10seconds delay or starting 10second faster when drag racing.

But that is the frequency Samsung chose, like it or not. If Adreno 420 was clocked 100Hz faster it would also be much faster, but it isnt. Sure, it would be much better, but fact is, its not.

Boohoo no excuses. Lower performance is lower performance. Two devices with the same specs (Note 4) running different chips and one is better than the other, gpu wise. You lose pal, thanks for playing.

Not in real world tests. Rather the opposite. Google Asphalt 8 Note 4 Exynos.

Dude the bechmarks show the Adreno kills the Mali? Bro what are you smoking?

Were you saying something!!! P.S. the benchmarks difference are in the range of 5-10%. In short, not differentiable. And in some graphics benchmarks exynos is ahead too. Also in CPU, the difference is more than 30%

Dude like you can even tell the difference of this so called 30% difference... Who do you think you are Johnny #5? C'mon, let's be serious. In the GPU world 10% is noticeable. You don't need to be Johnny #5 to see that! http://31.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lb0cu3zhrU1qcsb7zo1_400.jpg

Actually clocked at 600 mhz adreno 430 has 388 gflops.

No, you are wrong. Better cpu doesn't equal better gpu. Dev support for Exynos is trash too. Nice hypothetical numbers dude.

The Mali t760mp16 does reach that level of gflops but that's not what's in the exynos 5433. The exynos 5433 actually has the Mali t760mp6 which is way less powerful than the adreno 420

Well when its clocked 100hz lower than A420, it lacks, but when raised 100hz+, it kicks the Adreno.

So why would Samsung underclocked then?

63. TyrionLannister unregistered

Battery life.

That just mean the A15 chip are horrible. Too power hungry to be good mobile chip and too weak to be desktop.

76. TyrionLannister unregistered

The exynos uses a57 anyway. Your point?

If you don't understand the point then you should not be talking with the US grown-up. A57 has the same issue as the A15.

96. TyrionLannister unregistered

Nope, the A57 is 300% more efficient than A15. Also, the r2p4 and r3p3 cortex a15 didn't have this problem due to redesigned transistors. Add to that the 20 nm and 14 nm power saving and you've got an amazing design.

That is like saying that car is only faster because it more Hp. That still don't change the fact it is still faster.

That's why games are lagging on Snapdragon powered devices and Exynos are lag free? Sorry, but I like second one better
