Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC scores 181,434 on AnTuTu, tops Apple's A10 chipset

Earlier today, we told you that Qualcomm had introduced the Snapdragon 835 chipset which is being produced by Samsung using the 10nm process. The new chip will provide 27% better performance with 40% less energy consumption. We also passed along the results of the GFXBench benchmark test, which measured the graphics crunching capabilities of the Adreno 540 GPU...

I don't get those types of pop ups but I do get those "you have 246 viruses" type ones.

Let's not all get excited over benchmarks scores just yet....

Yes over GFXBench and Geekbench but not Antutu lol. Antutu is total crap.

Geekbench is worthless of them all. GB4 is rigged to pull down Android SoC. Only an iDiot will believe a pathetic Twister core is faster than SD820 and SD821

Apple has been cheating on benchmarks it has a double of speed storage than Android flagships even with higly optimized apps and GAMES and even with jailbreak seems on par or sometimes slow in some tasks than Android flagships with tons of apps poorly optimized

its a package deal. Not apple's fault others are cutting corners. The A9 is still wiping the floor with just about all android phones, let alone a10. we will see what all processors come out with for 2017 including apple and compare.

Antutu is the last thing to rely on in benchmarks.

I would certainly hope silicon from the future would beat out the present. Well at least until brand "x" arrives.

Running on 1080p, frozen in the ref LoL. Post a video where you are running it. Le Pro 4, OP4 and Xiaomi mi6 will easily hit 200-220K early next year.

Wont remove the lag that plagues Android as an OS.

The lag is in your brain.

It's ingrained in my brain. Couldn't be happier since making the switch to iOS. Doubt I'll be using android again.

So a bleeding edge 2017 chip compared against an older chip beats it by only a bit. So wonder what Apples bleeding edge chip will produce.

Is that what you post when Apple beats chips that are first released to OEM's almost a year earlier? Uhuh.

Not true, it still beats the 821 which was released almost during the same time.

It's funny you say that because the 2+ year old iPhone 6 runs circles around every android currently on the market ;) Edit: not sure if that's funny or sad...

Not true many videos out there with newer phones like the new one plus and also google pixel that easily tackle the iphone 6 so your comment is not true

Actually, a10 on the 7 plus can score 178000 easily, more interested in exynos than snapdragon, it's like Qualcomm lost its magic touch since snapdragon 805. Not very impressed with a 181000 score after 6 months of advancement.

That's actually pretty weak given it's running all eight cores.

Blame it to the retarded dev of Antutu and Geekbench, multi-core weight is like 25% or less only.

Ha ha ha as all non sheep said when A10 was released....it's no surprise, only to the stupid sheep.
