Purported Nokia Lumia 1020 specs sheet leaks: 3x zoom, OIS, six-lens optics, stereo sound recording

Apparently the 41 MP sensor we all know and love from the Nokia 808 PureView will be present indeed, as well as the lossless zoom concept, up to 3x. What we find mindboggling is that Nokia has allegedly managed to cram a full optical image stabilization (OIS) mechanism around the gigantic sensor, just as rumored, merging PureView Phase 1 & 2...

41mp + OIS is not innovation but new panorama feature in iPhone is innovation. All hail iPhone.

You're again here, as i said This is not Galaxy S4 zoom where samsung has attached camera sensor with 10x to Galaxy S3 mini. And another thing, everyone knows Lumia 1020 is a phone with best possible smartphone camera. Thai is Lumia: why you're eyes can't see this? I suggest you to remove that Fansung glass and see.

To include OIS with the same, massive sensor from the 808 is a big, BIG deal. This may not be innovation in the strict sense, combining two previously used technologies, but it's still miles ahead of the competition and doesn't deserve to be looked down upon. Yet again, NOKIA shows that they are leading the way with image. Most people don't even have dedicated, stand-alone cameras that are as good as the camera on this phone.

Investors can't afford to waste their time with Sammy. Also, they love to copy everything from Apple, and never develop anything original themselves. Boo yah!

and the funny part is, now there is nothing to copy from Apple, Apple it self lacking innovation. LOL And when samsung try to make something real, they end up with device like " S4 Zoom" hahhahha

2000mAh? 720p screen? Old Snapdragon SoC? Why? Really. At that size and weight, is it so hard to pack a 3200mAh battery and a 5" FHD screen? I mean it's MUCH bulkier than say a Galaxy S4.

You're bulkier than s4. OS!

Just wait this is the first version of the EOS, later this year there will be a quadcore snapdragon 800, 1080p version. Nokia is waiting for the GDR3 release of WP8, this because WP8 now has limits, so Nokia cant do anything about it!

cause S4 doesn't have a 41Mp / OIS / mechanical shutter / Xenon flash w LED

given the whole camera module size they had to cut somewhere in order to keep the size under control. I´d rather take a unibody polycarbonzte and sturdy shell without replacable battery and use an external juice cube (Nokia has those beauties) than sacrifice sturdiness.

It will be good if they release it soon before the iphone or something other comes. But really no one can replace it. . S600 will be good enough.
