Prices slashed by $100 on Microsoft Surface 2 models

If you're still looking for a tablet for the new school year, here is sone great news. The Microsoft Surface 2 price has been cut by Microsoft. The 32GB model is now $349, and the 64GB variant is $449. If you want a 64GB version of the Surface 2 that offers 4G LTE connectivity, the price is $579, which also includes a $100 price cut. The LTE model is made to work over AT&T's network. Shipping from the Microsoft Store for any of the three versions, is on the house...

No kidding. We got a "free" Surface RT at work and for over a year, no one has used it other than to turn it on, try it for a few minutes, and turn it off. It just sits on the shelf. No one wants it. Not even any of the developers or testers.

The crux of the matter is that Windows brings nothing to mobile that anyone wants.
