Poll results: Are you planning to jailbreak your iPhone or iPad with iOS 9 on it?
As the first untethered iOS 9 jailbreak by Pangu has now become a fact, we wanted to ask you if you plan on breaking the shackles of your newly-acquired Apple gear, such as the iPhone 6s6s PlusiPad Air 2, or any of the previous generations. Jailbreaking is not what it used to be, as Apple under Tim Cook has become more open and listening, but it still brings numerous new horizons to the otherwise somewhat restrictive iOS ecosystem.

Apple did introduce the long-awaited split-screen multitasking for its newest iPads, but if you have something older, a jailbroken iPad might be able to tap into the Cydia repos for precisely such functionality. As for the iPhone franchise, now that Apple is much more open when it comes to third-party widgets in the notification center, or alternative keyboards for your handset, it doesn't make as much sense to jailbreak as it did before.

Well, it turns out that more than half of our respondents think jailbreaking is still worth it, for the joy of the modding community. We just featured a Cydia tweak that lets you bring 3D Touch features to iPhones prior to the 6s, and there are plenty of those to go around, so that might have something to do with it.

Are you planning to jailbreak your iPhone or iPad with iOS 9 on it?

Unless there's a serious disadvantage of ''not'' jailbraking it...LOL Apple has been ripping you off for years, so why not get back at them

I think Android OEMs learns from Xposed framework modules as well for their Software features/optimizations.

I jailbroke mine. It's been that way for a few days, but I am unsure in what practical way to use it in. It feels much different from rooting an Android phone.
