Pixelized: How to transform the interface of your Galaxy S8/S8+ into a Google Pixel one

Pixelized: How to transform the interface of your Galaxy S8/S8+ into a Google Pixel one

Although stock and near-stock Android regularly get deemed as being "boring" and often "uninspiring" due to the not-so-shiny appearance, there's still something quite calming and friendly about the way stock Android looks. In reality, it's yet another aspect of the smartphone scene that's as polarizing to the user base as the trendy removal of the 3.5mm audio jack.

On that note... Do you own a Galaxy S8 or an S8+, perchance? Chances are you do, and if you also happen to be a stock Android connoisseur that failed to get a Pixel due to one reason or another, then worry not, we will show you how to easily transform the interface of your Galaxy S8 or S8+ to closely mimic the one found on the Google Pixel and Pixel XL.

Not at all. Samsungs software is trash and it's the biggest reason why I'm no longer buying Samsung only phones.

Not sure if you have tried the newer Samsung flagships. They software is packed with features and also highly customisable . May not be as smooth as the Pixels , but for sure its far far better.

Smoother is a factual statement, better is subjective. I personally think Samsung's software is crap. Android in and of itself is highly customizable. Samsung's rendition of Android is the equivalent of extreme bloatware which ruins the phone's performance and cannot be removed.

No it's just better period. Stock Android has been taking inspiration from TouchWiz for years now.

Wow, you're all kinds of special if you have no concept of what subjective means. No, it is not better, as "better" is an opinionated statement. This is really common sense, so stop trying to pass your ignorant opinions off as fact. SMH...

I do. I had the S7 Edge, 3 Note 7s, and now a S8+. I love the edge lighting, camera app, gallery app, and that's pretty much it. I'll sacrifice those software features for better performance.

I like several features of the Pixel launcher, but there's still a lot of visual changes I would like to implement on top of it which is why I'd still use Nova Launcher to give it a much cleaner look.
