doesn't matter people who have money to buy cars will have enough money to buy the a real phone the iphone not a laggy crapy copy device running lagdroid on s**tsung

Cra..ple IPhone is the most copy cat device in human history ; these phones are not even for men ; all little girls are using one in those pink cases . The iPhone is just a basic phone made for technophobe little girls.

I hope Android Auto picks up something from QNX. It's to my understanding that it has worked well for smart features in cars.

The problem is that it needs to make a direct WIFI connection to the car media centre. It won't work over Bluetooth. This of course means that you need a wifi-enabled head unit in the car.

one of our cars, 2017 bmw, already support wireless carplay for iphone (but i dont carry an iphone with me) and I believe aftermarket heads like Alpine already support wireless carplay. i believe apple introduced this with ios9 so good news for android users - hopefully my next car will support my phone
