Pixel 3 used to film part of Eminem performance that will be televised tonight on Kimmel Live!

You might recall that earlier this year, singer John Legend released a video for his song A Good Night that was filmed entirely with a Google Pixel 2. The Pixel line is known for its one rear sensor that combines with Google's processing prowess to produce outstanding photographic results. Now, with last week's unveiling of the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL, it is the new kids turn to show off.

Google has purchased advertising for this whole week's Jimmy Kimmel Live! shows that begin tonight (11:35pm on your local ABC affiliate), and this includes integrating Google products into each show. For example, on Saturday the Pixel 3 camera was used to record most of a performance by Eminem, who was singing on top of the Empire State Building in Manhattan. The singer performed his song Venom from the movie of the same name, accompanied by a dazzling light show. Tonight's episode of Kimmel Live! will play the video, along with a behind the scenes clip that was filmed entirely with the Pixel 3.

If you're thinking about buying the Pixel 3 or Pixel 3 XL, you'll get the chance to see how the camera held up while standing in for professional video recording equipment. And if you're not a fan of Eminem, you can always turn the volume low.
