A survey conducted by brokerage house Piper Jaffray reveals that a record 81% of teens expect that their next smartphone will be an Apple iPhone. According to the firm, that number bodes well for sales of the Apple iPhone 7s, Apple iPhone 7s Plus and the 10th-year anniversary model dubbed the Apple iPhone 8. The previous high survey result came about last fall when 79% of teens said that their next phone would be an iPhone...

Teens should spend their money on more important things than a iphone. Secondly I am not sure if those teen called group really has their own earned money to get a £800 phone.

Most iPhone users are buying iPhones to show off. They think they look rich when they use an iPhone. They don't even know the specs and all of those teens want to buy an iPhone because they see celebrities using iPhones on TV.

"Most iPhone users are buying iPhones to show off." "Most Android users only buy Android phones because they live in low income environments." "They think they look rich when they use an iPhone." They think they're smart for paying a cheap buck for an electronic device." "They don't even know the specs and all of those teens want to buy an iPhone because they see celebrities using iPhones on TV." "They don't know that specs mean absolute dogs**t if your phone can't even run it's own UI fluidly, let alone apps or games. They just buy them because that's all they can really afford to purchase... yet they still have the audacity to feel superior to someone else. Pathetic... I know." It's a two way street fam...

My man, I don't need a smartphone to look rich lol! I'm not even rich, but I'm a grown man with a career and do well for myself. Using a smartphone to show you have money is lame! Especially as a grown adult! Where they do that at?

I think for the most part it falls into the facebook diva's (and dude's). At least that's how I remember facebook...lots of girls taking selfies in the mirror because that's the only way to get the iPhone in the shot lol - not to say that's how it is now, although I wouldn't be surprised if the boys have surpassed the girls in this category...then again we can literally identify as whatever we want now - no longer restrained to whatever it is we're packing in our underwear.

So 75% already have one and 81% would like their next phone to be one. That's pretty good news for Apple, lock down your customer loyalty early and you have them for life.
