I read yesterday that the Note 5 may have an SD slot after all. Would be interesting and would boost sales a little I'm sure.

Very unlikely, I guess previous leak was mistake, any way, good luck.

I thought so too, but it seems they would do everything they could to pull it off so they could get the few customers they lost on the S6 b/c it didn't have one.

Yep, I guess so, but note 4 would be too early to come up with something, they might come up with some other type of removable memory for sure.

Sales boost for Samsung dummy. If it had an sd slot many people who passed on the S6 b/c it didn't have one will buy the Note 5.

If it had a sd card slot it will be slower than the s6 as they have to remove ufs 2.0

Pretend that it won't have an sd card and you won't be disappointed.

I can't wait for the Note 5. Definitely will be the phablet of the year.

It may be the best in terms of features and specs, but in terms of sales it will be blown away by the iPhone 6S Plus.

probably true, a lot of people will appreciate more the apple logo on the back than the stylus ;)

Or a lot of people don't appreciate the Samsung logo on the front. Anyways, looks good, I wish we had a picture of the back though to see if there's a camera hump. As far as it being "blown away" by the Plus, yeah it will be outsold, but I don't think by such a huge margin. As far as phablets are concerned I think Samsung has the experience to present a more compelling product that Apple. We'll see.

Probably true seeing that all this pictures were taken with an iPhone 6, look at the mirror image on the first pic

I don't think he said he was buying because of sales, did he?

Then why would even mention it? Do you think that sales matter about how much product is good?

I don't care about sales. I care about what the phone is about.

If the note 5 gets the mSD slot, it'll be a great phone.

If these are indeed the actual products, then I say, GOOD LUCK to Samsung. I don't see why those who have not fallen in love with the Galaxy S6 Edge, would see any reason to buy a Galaxy S6 Edge+. I too don't see any reason why those who are already happy with their Note 4, would see any need to upgrade their phones to the Note 5 which looks almost the same in outlook. I might sell away my Note 4 to get an iPhone 6S this time. Looks like the S6 Edge+ and Note 5 are going to go the same way as the Galaxy S6 in sales.

S6 Edge+ is for those who like S6 edge but want bigger screen, there are many people who don't have note 4 will upgrade to Note 5. I didn't like note 5 that much either, it would be good phone, yes, phablet of year, yes, but more things are coming and note 5 is missing them. So I am gonna pass too, but lots of people won't.

And most people are on 2 year contracts anyway, so Note 4 users will not be the prime target group. Mostly Note 3, new phablet users and from outside Samsung, plus those using phones more than 2 years old (yes, many make their phones last longer than 2 years, my more than 4 year old S2 has a new life elsewhere too).

Not everyone in the world has a phone on contract...

Hence why I used the word "most" (referring to the target market) and not "everyone"....

I'm still rocking a Note 3 and was patiently waiting for the 5. But it's almost looking like the Note 5 is a downgrade from the 4. I guess I'll continue to wait and see what the nexus phone(s) have up their sleeves.

The same way as in the best selling Android devices in years and reaping extra billions of profit? Samsung surely wouldn't mind....
