128GB unlocked Samsung Galaxy Note 8 (SM-N950F) is $686 on eBay
As you no doubt know by now, Samsung earlier today unveiled the Samsung Galaxy Note 9. For those who don't see any big differences between the Galaxy Note 9 and last year's Galaxy Note 8, there are a few changes of importance. Number one is the battery, which now has a 21% higher 4000mAh capacity. And there is the improved S Pen, which can control content and snap the shutter on the Galaxy Note 9 from as far as 10 meters (32' 9") away from the phone.

But let's toss that all out for a second. If you believe that there isn't enough difference between last year's Galaxy Note 8 and this year's Galaxy Note 9, you can save a chunk of cash by purchasing the 128GB unlocked Samsung Galaxy Note 8 from an eBay seller. This is the SM-N950F model, which means that it features dual-SIM capabilities, and more importantly, has the Exynos 8895 SoC under the hood. It comes with 6GB of RAM, like the Galaxy Note 9, and will work with GSM carriers in the U.S. That means that the phone supports the AT&T and T-Mobile networks in the states.

Now here is the kicker. Instead of paying $999.99 for the Galaxy Note 9, you can buy the Galaxy Note 8 by paying $685.99 to a seller that has a 99% satisfaction rating on the auction site. So far, 148 units have been sold and the seller still has roughly 70 units remaining. If interested, click on the sourcelink below.
