Pick up a SIM-free Nokia Lumia 820 for only $301

The Nokia Lumia 820, like the other Lumia 8xx series devices (with exception of perhaps the Lumia 822) were all released in the shadow of the flagship Lumia 920 last autumn.  However, all the Lumia 8xx devices were capable in their own right. The Lumia 820 arguably only lacked the 920 in terms of camera and on-board storage, but at least the device supports microSD expansion, and the camera was still adequate.

In all likelihood, you might be able to find a great deal on an almost-new Lumia 820 for less on places like eBay, but a brand new-in-box device with a warranty is a pretty nice arrangement too. At $301, online retailer SaleTab.com is offering the Lumia 820 for $50 less than AT&T’s full retail offering. Plus, SaleTab.com will ship world-wide.

Check out the source link if you want in on this deal.

Not a bad deal for a no contract phone. Pretty much same price as an 8GB Nexus 4 but with microSD expansion option. Although Windows Phone is not my cup of tea, it should be adequate for a person who wants a fairly simple to use phone and don't mind the lack of apps on that platform currently.
