Not impressed, I want to hear what Apple people have to say about the lack of a fingerprint sensor because when Samsung put it in the spot its in, the fps became their best friend cause they could hate Samsung for it. Now they don't got one, lol

yea, all this fingerprint, fingerprint, fingerprint. Now Apple don't have one at all. And the face unlock isn't faster than the note8 or s8. Because people where really nitpicking the note7 s8 iris scanning speed, is it .2 slower than a fps, hypocrites

PLUS- WHAT ABOUT THE POSSIBLE SECURITY LAPS- YOU CAN SIMPLY SHOW THE PHONE TO THE FACE OF OWNER AND THE PHONE UNLOCKS. THE VERGE IN THEIR HANDS ON VIDEO DEMONSTRATES THIS FLAW.

This was the part of the show where they dropped all the buzzwords they could that had nothing to do with what those words actually mean. Machine learning, neural networks, deep learning, etc. As if no one has done this before and they just invented it. Also, none of those things are actually happening in what are some pretty standard industry algorithms.

"As if no one has done this before and they just invented it."

When did they say they invented it? Would you like to show me a clip in which they said they invented any of the things you mentioned? I'll wait.

Just watched a video of an apple rep demonstrating portrait lighting to a journalist and it completely failed, her excuse was it was due to the lighting in the room and quickly changes the subject lol.

Cool, and it may be done via processing, but I don't see anything you can't achieve by editing a RAW photo.

This is just convienent for those who don't want to deal with editing photos.

I like that new dedicated Siri button, with press and hold to talk. Wonder where apple got that idea.

Siri press and hold was a feature on the iPhone since iPhone 5 I think. It allowed you to think while making a command or dictation. I'm actually used it exclusively on my old 5S to avoid Siri from stop listening prematurely. My commands are sometimes longer that simply saying "how tall is the Golden Gate Bridge".

These new iPhones don't have improved camera hardware. All they did was add new filters to the software to automatically photoshop all your photos. Big fuqin deal [eye roll] !!

According to keynote they have new larger sensors letting in 83% more light, sharper images, better dynamic range, more texture, faster focus, improved portrait effect trying to mirror a dslr better, sharper portraits with more detail. Studio lighting is a cool effect if the image is composed nicely
