Pantech PG-1610 a GSM phone in slider design
Once again, the FCC approved an unannounced phone – the PG-1610 from Pantech. It is a tri-band GSM with slide form factor, in black and silver colors. It is a mid-range device and has 65k color STN display and VGA camera with CMOS sensor, which can capture video clips in display's resolution – 128x128 pixels. The 1610 supports downloadable applications and games, based on JAVA as well as WAP browser and multimedia messaging. The internal memory can not be extended with any kind of memory cards. It can hold graphic files for wallpapers and 64-chord polyphonic and MP3 ring tones. The PG-1610 measures 3.5 x 1.7 x 0.7 inches and weights 2.8 ounces.
