Paladins Strike for Android and iPhone wants to be the ultimate mobile MOBA
Paladins Strike is another MOBA that should not be confused with Paladins: Champions of the Realm, a free-to-play hero shooter game for PC and consoles, even though they have many things in common, including the fact that they are developed by the same studio – Hi-Rez Studios.

Soft-launched last year, Paladins Strike is now available worldwide on both the Android and iOS platforms. It doesn't cost anything to download and play the game, but it does come with a very solid in-app purchase system, which can't be avoided if you want to become a pro player.

The game features more than 20 Champions and allows players to face each other in 5v5 real-time battles from a top-down view. Paladins Strike has multiple game modes like Siege and Summons. The winning condition in some of these modes strikingly resemble Overwatch, so if you've played Activision's game, you'll feel right at home.

The main problem gameplay-wise is that Paladins Strike seems to encourage pay to win mechanics, especially in order to gain access to champions. Although we should be talking about how good (or bad) Paladin Strikes is, the folks over at Hi-Rez included a freemium system that's too heavy on in-app purchases.

Aside from that, Paladin Strike seems to be a very fun to play MOBA with a unique approach. Too bad it's dragged down by such a convoluted business model that takes away the fun.
