Outlook for iOS gets iPhone XS, XS Max and XR support

Unless you own one of the three iPhone models mentioned in the changelog, there's no reason to get excited about the new Outlook update since Microsoft didn't include other new features or improvements.
Earlier today, Microsoft announced that it opens the Outlook beta program to iOS users. If you want to test new features before they are made available to everyone, you can now enroll in the Microsoft Office Insider program for Outlook and hope that you'll be among the not so many allowed to run beta builds on their iOS devices.
