Oppo unveils unique Find X with slide-out cameras, to be released in 'North America'

Oppo is no stranger to phones with rotating cameras, so if we push durability concerns about its sliding mechanism aside, the phone itself is a beaut when it comes to design, with symmetrically curved glass body both at the front and the rear, sloping the 6.4" OLED display to the sides in a very Samsung-esque style. Furthermore, it's got the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, 8GB of RAM, and up to 256GB of storage. A hefty 3,730mAh battery with fast charging rounds up this unique offering.

 

Moreover, Oppo says that this is its first phone that will officially arrive to carriers in North America and Europe, and has unlocked all the necessary LTE bands of the Snapdragon chipset in the process. We've probed the company about eventual US carrier availability, though, given the air of the US-Chinese relations these days, we wouldn't bet the house on any big launch stateside. The pricing is equivalent to about $700/600 EUR in China, which might go up when the Find X finds its way to the West.
