Expect superb bench scores and 'performance' for first 1-2 week for advertising and then massivrle throttle via update to keep device cool.

Have they "become" arrogant? Remember that OnePlus One was advertised as a "flagship killer" already, which it couldn't be because of the terrible handling of supply and demand at first, and because most flagships had dropped in price by the time anyone could get a One. I think they were already a bit cocky right from the start, but I agree that this claim about the OnePlus Two is much more arrogant. 2016 flagships will have a better SoC than the s810, so the only thing the OnePlus Two will be able to boast is a lower price tag.

Talk big up front and s**tty product after 1 year or so. I have a few friends who have this OnePlus One since the launch day and now they all have some kind of problem with it. I have the Z2 since it first released (got it from Taiwan) and only problem I have is I can't use magnetic charger. Still rocking Z2 until it's 2 year old, then I'll look into other phones.

It could be Samsung or Toshiba.

With SD 810 and a 450$ price tag it's barely a flagship killer. I think SD 810 had it's fare share of bad publicity and people will stay away from every phone that uses it especially when SD 820 is closer than ever.

Most people don't know what a snapdragon is.

More people know what Samsung and Apple phones are. More people dont even know wtf is one chinese crap company even attempting to do in smartphone market.1+1 Had more hardware and software buggs than all of the flagships in 2015 combined. Half of the 1+1 units didnt even have fully working touch interface.

Though it is true that most people don't know what a snapdragon is, I think OnePlus buyers do know what it is

I wouldn't shy away from the 810. I think it's most likely more tech press nonsense, sort of like Windows 8 being hard to use, or plastic being a cheap inferior material. But you're right that tech press BS can hurt sales.

With a 4:3 13MP camera it is more like a 2012 flagship killer... I guess their slogan should be changed.

Unless they have the best screen on the market (GS6) and best camera on the market (GS6), the two most important features to me, they will never get a dime of my money.

You might debate that the lg g4 has the best camera. Don't have personal expierence so I can't judge.

The G4 has the better camera for more advanced users, seeing as the S6 lacks shutter speed control (a huge letdown considering they have a "pro" mode)

I agree, they need to ad shutter speed. That is very important.

Those are just areas where the marginal differences aren't that important. Not even features I would focus on when buying a smartphone.

What two features are most important to you?

Battery size/life, but I would hopefully will never never be forced to buy a phone that doesn't have a removable battery, microSD, NFC, IR, at least 3GB if not 4GB of ram, and a fingerprint scanner (although I'm not convinced on that feature yet, but I want to have the option to use it). I'm on the fence on USB-C due to transition issues.

Well i think it's a flagship killer cause its cheap and gives flagship's hardware bit not really for the 2016 unless it would become a lot cheaper than that.

Boy, so glad we get another opportunity to rip on the SD810! They should change the name of this website to Snapdragon810Arena!
