Alleged OnePlus 7 pops up in real life photo. Reveals tiny but fun detail

The OnePlus 7 popped in a real-life photo. It's shot upside down — either because it's a false leak or because the photographer wanted to outline a quirky new feature.

It has water resistance although not an official rating on the box. It's not like water damage is covered by any manufacturer anyway. The 6T starts at 128gb so I wouldn't say that expendable memory is a concern. The camera is more than OK, I don't understand why people exaggerate so much about this. What One Pluse's phones lack is: a better taptic engine and stereo speakers. If they add these 2 the OP7 will be very competitive.

Several reviewers & from what I've seen in person say that the camera is just okay.

I honestly don't like the chins anymore... Not sure how Apple did it and nobody noticed, they steal losing the headphone jack but still have a damn chin.

Chin screams "we are some lame-ass weak manufacturers that can't solve a very simple problem". It's quite incredible how no one besides Apple can solve this issue. Looks like Vivo V15 Pro will finally solve it: https://www.phonearena.com/news/Vivo-V15-Pro-to-feature-32MP-pop-up-camera_id113495

I would much prefer a hole and no chin, than going to stupid lengths (like a space-consuming, water resistance-ruining, battery capacity-decreasing) slider mechanism just to hide the selfie camera. Or just remove the selfie cam and be done with it, half of the users don't even use it.

While I could live without a selfie camera, I can see why OnePlus doesn't want to alienate 50% of their potential customers by removing it entirely. Look how people seem to lose their mind about the headphone jack, despite the fact that you can use a dongle and continue to use standard headphones. BTW, if this turns out to be a slider I am 100% buying it. I would buy the Mi Mix 3 if it was available in the US.

they should make two models, 1 with no selfie cam and 1 with, that way the selfie addicts can get what satisfies them and others can get the full screen no compromise.

Agree, made 3 selfies in 2018 :D no need that stuff at all. But for some front camera is used not only for selfies but for video chats as well ;)

Anybody ever do a survey as to how many people never ever use the selfie camera anyway?
