Does Galaxy S10+ cost $1000 right now? Will it cost $1000 when OP7 will be available? Oneplus is not what it used to be. They are a small company that get the design by their mother company, apply the same kind of marketing with Apple and sell it in a price that will help them compensate for the previous years' losses, as they have been selling too low in order to make a name. Oneplus cannot afford (or just can not) launch more devices, so they make just one model, trying to please as many as possible. They do not care for their hardcore fan base anymore, they try to become mainstream and they make too many compromises. They have settled for good.

If you buy it brand new most likely yes. It definitely won't cost $669 for the base model.

ZTE Axon 10 Pro vs OnePlus 7 Pro vs Red Magic 3 vs Redmi K20 vs Asus Zenfone 6. Which one is the flagship killer?

DxOMark gave the One Plus 7Pro an overall score of 111 just one point shy of the Huawei P30 Pro and Samsung Galaxy S10 5G both with 112. But I doubt its camera is that good especially in low light.

DxOMark has very strange scoring system. It's better to just read their analysis and ignore the final score. They usually have good analysis otherwise but the scores can be....interesting.lol In my time with the OnePlus 7 Pro yesterday, I liked the camera. The Pro mode is where it's at for me though. Still get 30 second shutter speeds and the haptic motor when clicking through the mode dials feels so satisfying. Close enough to my V30.

Dang I'm mad I missed you yesterday John V. I got to meet a lot of your contemporaries though and that made the trip to NY well worth it.

If they make a compact one with the same spec, it would be great.

I hope this phone proves to be a force to reckon in the real world and not just on paper. This will require regular software updates as the other high end phones receive to address and/or enhance features of the phone.
