Yes, OxygenOS is faster, much faster, performs better and there is never a lag or hiccup. Has every feature that completely stock android misses out on and is bloat free, light. While also providing a great update support. Having used one, i am never going back to completely stock or heavily skinned ones. Few examples - internet speed meter, inbuilt call recorder, 3 types of navigation gestures(android pie, older android one, full screen gestures), screen off gestures(drawing various shapes on screen off to launch apps fast), completely black theme, accent colors, launcher with 3rd party icon pack support, gaming mode, scheduled power on/off, three finger screenshot, dual apps, flip to mute, pocket mode. Also there are no extra apps, just 2-3 useful OnePlus apps that can also be completely uninstalled from the phone. It's UI is a 99% stock UI looking. All extra features are in form of settings inside the settings menu. Consider OxygenOS like a bug free version of CyanogenMod rom. Blazing fast.

Dude, chill! I was arguing the OP's point that the Pixel has the better software, when it's a fact that Oxygen OS beats every Android skin on the market.

Since One Plus in making the phone with most global bands, it's a no-brainer.

This is an Unpopular opinion but The one plus 6t is lacking in too many areas tbh. No wireless charging, no stereo speaker system, no headphone jack, no ip rating, average camera, no AOD, no notification light, 1080p screen. The only thing the 6t has going for it is the software, and price, things like ram are relative to optimization and the onscreen fps isn't as reliable as the standard touch sensitive ones. At least till Samsung outs the ultrasonic batch. While the pixel can legitimately claim to have the best stereo speakers in the business, the best screen, the best cameras, always on display, notification light, IP 68 certified, 3 years of major software updates, squeezable frame, best Android experience and that crazy night sight feature and call screening. This is personal opinion but I prefer the smaller pixel 3 design to the one plus 6t. It just seems more thoughtful and more elegant. The larger pixel 3xl is a downright eyesore imo. While the 6t looks like an unthoughtful dad imo. Unsymmetrical chin and top rear drop notch. It's distasteful tbh.

- OnePlus has the best wired charging. - Camera isn't average, go check comparisons. It's like 90+ % of Pixel's camera. - Pixel doesn't have the best screen. Go check out comparisons. 6T has better Samsung's Super AMOLED panel with amazing calibration and modes. - There is no headphone jack, no notification led on Pixel either. And pixel has 1080p screen too. - RAM is relative to optimisation, yet 4GB pixel 3 is having reloading issues even with 3-4 apps. - 6T's fingerprint is the best implementation of in screen ones and is still faster than Pixel 3 scanner. Take that. - 6T has 40% better battery life, has much smaller and good looking bezels unlike the ancient ones on Pixel, has much better charging tech, has double the ram, double the base storage, provides Android updates for 2 years and 3 year security patches, has much better face unlock, has much better screen, has better and faster performance. All that for $350 less. Go figure.

You're the right person to tell us the difference in feel and usability.

It’s the price, if I am to pay the google price, you better off with Apple, due to the resell price

Pixel's are just too expensive. I'm done buying $800 - $1000 phones.

As the poll is now, it needs a Neither option. If you separate out the two Pixels, there's a tiny chance I'd get a normal Pixel 3, but less than zero chance of a 3XL or a 6T.

If money is no issue, I would pick the smaller Pixel 3 for its hardware. If money is a consideration, I’m not really a fan of the 6T, and think the 6 is the better phone.

If the price was right, it would have been the Pixel, no contest. But with Google's price hike the 6T is an easy choice now.

i'm not a tech reviewer who carry a man purse and i don't work behind a desk , so a pocketable phone with the latest tech is a must for me therefore the pixel 3 would be my first choice despite it's outdated front look ,then i saw the Nubia X couple days ago, let's hope it will turn to be the Axon 10 for the US market

OnePlus good choice on the one year. Since after one year there is almost no phone support.

What? My 3T launched with Marshmallow in 2016, got Nougat and is now on Oreo and will get Pie before year end. Plus software patches will continue till December 2019! Tell me a company other than Google with this kind of support.

I have both... To be honest. I prefer the pixel 3 xl. Cameras better, Phone feels better, all the features that I ask for or on the device. Wireless charging, stereo speakers, 1440 resolution. Only thing better on than OnePlus is face unlock, better/bigger battery, and gesture controls. I guess I can say the teardrop Notch made that much of a difference. But I really can't.

Yes, for double the price. Anyways, it was discussion between 6T and normal Pixel. And 6T has a few more extras. Like better charging, better design, more ram, double the base storage.

I *think* Oneplus has Google beat on reliability, sadly
