On launch day, BlackBerry's enterprise software and apps will be ready for iOS 11

Even back in those olden days of yesteryear before BlackBerry hopped into bed with Google, the company's BES software was able to track a company's fleet of mobile devices regardless of whether these devices ran on iOS, Android, Windows or BlackBerry. And while today's BlackBerry handsets are powered by Android, the beat goes on as far as BlackBerry's enterprise software is concerned...

Great news for enterprises that use iOS and need strong security like BlackBerry's UEM to keep them safe and help them manage iOS devices and apps.

Kickin' it into overdrive. Make money doing what you're good at and trimming the fat is how Chen has been able to bring BlackBerry back to prominence. Microsoft needs to follow suit and put software first and let others handle hardware.

Totally agree. Microsoft has OEM partners, anyway. They should just let them handle the smartphone hardware entirely and focus on the software. It's what made Microsoft what it is to begin with. Nadella is right to put the primary focus elsewhere.

If you ask me, I think they should just exit out of hardware period and just stick to software.

Still in denial about BlackBerry no longer being a smartphone hardware maker, huh?

Funny, I don't recall naming any company. Getting defensive I see.

Lol, you're in a BlackBerry article comments section making a comment, responding to Crispin about what he said about BlackBerry. Get real and stop crying on every BlackBerry post.

Well you are the one who is attacking me, so you are the one who is crying. You are crying worst than g2 when I called him out on his hypocrisy.

Stop crying, lol. You attack people on the regular here, so don't cry and complain now that the tables have turned. And g2 straight wrecked you. You had no legitimate comeback after he destroyed you.

That's great advice. Maybe you can convince Henry Ford it's time to replace the Model T. Oh wait, that's yesterday's news as well.

This is coming from the troll that cries out in pain from the abdominal discomfort of every BlackBerry article getting posted on PA. You're so triggered because you wanted them to be dead and buried by now. Poor you, lol.

Too much prune juice gives me a stomach ache. Then I take a dump and immediately think of you.

This is what blackberry should stick to, software and security. They don't stand a chance in the smartphone system unless they wake up and get with the times. Stick with what you are strongest with, not with what you did in the past.

You do realize that there is more than one way to be in the "smartphone system" besides building hardware, right? There is something called software and apps, maybe you've heard of them? Outside of sales, how don't BlackBerry smartphones stand a chance against other phones, especially when they bring things to the table that other smartphones don't? Post links backing yourself up, or are you just making another baseless "opinion"? By your logic, no one should be in the smartphone business except Samsung and Apple.

Show me where I said or implied that Samsung and Apple should be the only players in the smartphone business. Oh you were just talking out of your rear end again.. I just said that they should just exit the game and stick to software. You are just mad because I said something about blackberry and because I said it.

I never said you said it, I said "by your logic." Reading comprehension helps. I see you're so triggered by the truth that you're raging again..... But they're not in the hardware game. You're just mad that I keep proving that you just make ignorant comments.

I praised the Essential phone and the Pixel 2, two phones NOT made by Apple or Samsung. Do you realize how stupid you sound right now lol? Anyhow, you implied that I said it, so don't give me that usual bs response you usually give. They are still releasing devices. They still sell the Priv. You are the one who is being ignorant.

Lol, you fake praising phones to justify you're trolling is duly noted. Do you realize how ridiculous and idiotic you look and sound thinking that anyone is falling for that BS? I implied nothing, you just have horrible reading comprehension skills. BlackBerry the company isn't releasing ANY device. Not even the PRIV. If you actually went on their website and checked, you'd see that once you click on the smartphones there that you are prompted to buy them elsewhere, like Amazon. Your ignorance and stupidity has just reached an all time high.

Don't blame my reading comprehension for you trying to backtrack from getting called out. You were implying it, so stop trying to lie through your teeth. I praise Android all the time even if I criticize it. Get over it. I used Android far more than I've used ios. That's just a technicality you clown. You know what I'm referring to, but you're just being dumb just because I'm the one who is saying it.

Lol, don't try and change the facts and say I'm backtracking because I called you out on your lack of reading comprehension. You're assuming that I implied something, and you're making an @$$ of yourself in the process. You NEVER praise "Android". You fake praise an Android DEVICE, but you bash Android all,of the time. Post a link showing that you did to prove it or get over your lying BS. You've never used Android, so cut that BS out as well. Lol, how is the FACT that BlackBerry no longer sells any of its branded handsets a "technicality"? Do you know how ridiculous you look trying to save face by being in denial about the facts? You're being a complete idiot now and are only going against the truth because I called you out on your ignorance.
