Official video for the LG V50 shows off the upcoming 5G world
On Sunday, the LG V50 ThinQ was unveiled by LG, and the device is the company's first phone to support 5G connectivity. After the introduction, LG released its official new product video for the device. The manufacturer chose to focus on 5G, and what the faster data speeds mean to users. Compared to 4G LTE, data moving over a 5G network travels up to 20 times faster. This will create new capabilities and features for mobile devices, leading to new businesses and companies.
And LG also introduced its Dual Screen display case accessory for the V50 yesterday. This is a second screen that attaches to the phone, adding new functionalities. For example, when both screens are attached and in landscape mode, game players can use the top screen as a display for a game while the bottom screen shows a virtual controller. Whatever is on one screen can be instantly saved as a screenshot on the second screen. And while using one display to stream live video, the second display can be used to engage in a live chat session. For now, it's LG's answer to Samsung and Huawei's foldable phones.
LG has yet to reveal pricing for the LG V50 ThinQ and the display case. In addition, it also did not announce a release date for the phone. But it did post this video, which you can view over and over and over again.
