After being launched in China as the Nokia X7 back in October, the Nokia 8.1 is finally expected to make its international debut tomorrow at an event in Dubai. With less than 24 hours to go, though, an official promo video has now leaked out online.

The 30-second clip doesn’t really reveal anything new but it does go over some of the key features. For example, the rear camera will support optical image stabilization and will include ZEISS branding. Alongside this, the smartphone is also said to be capable of taking “superior” images in low-light conditions. In regards to selfies, portrait photos will be paired with a number of AI enhancements. Similarly, support for bokeh blur is listed among the camera features too.

The “Pure Display” on the smartphone is also listed as one of its main features, as is the support for HDR10 content. Towards the end of the video, it’s confirmed that the Nokia 8.1 will be available to purchase in three colors: Iron Steel, Blue Silver, and Steel Copper, all of which can be viewed in the gallery below.

Last week a number of promotional images confirmed some of the Nokia 8.1’s key specs. If everything is accurate, the smartphone will arrive powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 710. This will be paired with either a 4/64GB configuration or a 6/128GB setup depending on the model purchased. Stock Android 9 Pie will come pre-installed as part of the Android One program, while in the battery department a 3,500mAh cell can be found.
