Official Android TED app now available
If YouTube is too big for you, and you want a curated video service focusing on new ideas, innovation and everything aside from cat videos - TED is the place to go. Now, it’s gotten an offical Android application compatible with both phones and tablets, allowing you to get your daily dose of inspiration on the go.
The official Android TED application uses the Holo theme of Android 4.0 and brings over 1,200 talks with more getting posted weekly. All of this can be watched in high quality, but if you’re short on bandwidth you can opt for lower-res versions.
TED for Android also features TED Radio in a limited form. Finally, it’s also free so there’s really no reason for you not to have it. It requires Android 2.1 or better to work, hit the link below to get it.
