Three years after the release of
the first Oddworld game on mobile devices, publisher Oddworld Inhabitants brings yet another platformer to Android and iOS devices – Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty.
Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty is the mobile port of the game with the same name that was launched back in 2014 on PC and consoles. Although the game doesn't come with in-app purchases, Android and iOS users will have to pay $7.99 to get it.
The 2.5D
puzzle-themed platformer offers the full console experience and comes with Bluetooth controller support, as well as on-screen controls. Moreover, the mobile version of Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty features a full array of graphics options, including the ability to turn off post-processing effects and tweak the rendering resolution.
For newcomers to the series, the developer added a new tutorial system with pop-up hints, along with a gradual introduction to the game's first area.
Besides Android and iOS, Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty is also available in the NVIDIA Shield Store for the same price. Make sure you check the list of compatible devices before purchasing the game though.
