Don't know how that is bad. It literally means more phones have Nougat than all iOS phones in usage right now. Plus, it is a far more advanced OS and so that makes it even more amazing.

The only reason this is higher is because the Samsung s8 and the other higher end phones came with it out of the box...

What exactly is bad? Having the freedom to run apps on older device or having them artificially restricted so that Apple could make that extra money forcing their users to buy new hardware.

if someone keeps a device for 4-5 years, chances are they aren't paying attention to all the features. Nice try though

Who on Earth use 100% of the feature? Till this days I only use feature the matter to me. Only fanboy force the issue to make every mobile OS feature useful.

A lot of Chinese OEM are still selling Lollipop phones and tablets till these days. People in developing countries still buy them because it's cheaper and still run 100% of the Play store apps unlike iOS 5 or 6.

Part of the reason is because in countries like Jamaica carriers still sell overpriced phones on older versions which is not helping. Apple discontinues their phones after a while and those get updated immediately. Staying on an old OS on I phones is impractical because you can't use any apps. It is forced.
