Note 7 picture with S Pen pops up, the stylus may function under water

Well, well, well, what do we have here today, folks - a purported official Galaxy Note 7 image leaked by an electronics store and tech blog CEO in Vietnam. Samsung has a factory there, and several of the Note 7 models for US carriers that were approved by the FCC not long ago, carried the "Made in Vietnam" sign (SM-N930A for AT&T, SM-N930P for Sprint, and SM-N930R4 for U.S. Cellular), so there is a pretty decent chance that the image is not just a great render...

Very nice indeed... bigger battery please and ... FM radio ... anyone? ... Regardless how much I value cutting age technology I still need the old fashion FM Radio. So disappointed with any model after S3 for not having it.

Not sure why someone would need to use the s-pen underwater but ok.

Writing under water might not be necessary, but it just shows how great is the strength of Samsung's Galaxy Note 7 !

it doesnt mean you HAVE TO use it in underwater, but it means that S-PEN is water resistant as well. What if the phone is water resistant while the s-pen isnt?

I have the Note 4 & accidentally ran my S-Pen thru the washer & dryer & it still works. I think it's more about the phone than the Pen.

something or someone becomes great sometimes not for virtue, but for might.

You can't use touchscreens underwater. When the Note detects the S-pen it disables touch, so you may be able to fully use your Note underwater

Probably not under water, but in a downpour where the screen is soaked? Useful.

From time to time I like to go underwater and use my note for about an hour or so, just to unwind.

Woh, that will be just outright AMAZING! Something you definitely can't even dream of doing with physical paper, and it sure will come in handy when I'm working on powerlines out in a storm. That's usually when I'm called in the most; when everyone is in darkness due to outage from a storm. Less worrying about my tools, more notes/ideas being kept tracked of. I sure hope this is true.

This is so sad this phone will probably contain what every android user wants but the only having edge variant will make it hard to get for many people including me :/ i hope for their sakes the include a normal flat screen module

I once heard that the edge on Note7 has a purpose. Maybe there is something behind it. Just wait and see

it doesn't need a purpose...not only does the edge freshen up the slate form factor but it's the only way to make large screen devices narrow and easy for one handed use like the S7 edge being as narrow as the S5..now people can complain about the edge all they want..the device has already been mass produced. The edges on the note aren't even as steep as the ones on he edge anyway and the device has a larger back curve as well.

its quite.useless to have bigger screen if you end not fully using it at all time. took a s7 edgebput.ot.side by side with a g5 and opened a webpage... looked same size to me so plz.stop with those excuses

It does have a purpose, an excuse to jack up the price by a hundred dollars on an already expensive phone. I have a note 4, the last true note imo.
