Nokia posts funny Condescending Wonka meme to take a jab at Samsung's S4 Zoom again

After showing how enthusiasts taped a DSLR-style lens to a Lumia 920, Nokia took to fan-created memes to expand on the jab against the pocket-unfriendly Galaxy S4 Zoom. Listing a popular Condescending Wonka meme this time, it hints at the 25mm thick at the lens part camera with phone functions that is the S4 Zoom...

Agreed on the women's phone point. At the risk of overgeneralizing, women like stylish and easy to use phones that they can customize with pretty cases. Good luck finding a case for that Zoom abomination.

I like humor when I see one, but I found none of it here.

S4 Zoom has to be one of the worst looking phone in the last year or so. Nokia Lumia EOS will be one badass of a phone.

Have to agree with Nokia here, there implementation of zoom ie pureview 808 is better suited fire a phone. The s4 zoom would have made sense if the the camera itself was significantly superior to any phone but from what I read it's just a good camera phone with excellent zoom but if you are going to add that much bulk you should at least significantly improve the camera quality.

I prefer a "little bulky" with all the features from S4 plus Android then WP8. And ... taking better photos, yes ! with 10x zoom. Now i won´t carry 2 devices :-)

Better zoom doesn't mean better photos, necessarily, just less cropping later. It can actually make a photo worse if there is any camera shake. I'd much rather have lossless zoom with OIS so there is no blur and I can zoom the photos in a photo editor than have a useless photo because the bulky awkward camera had a mild tremor at full extension. If I really need something too far away to zoom via software then I'll use my DSLR with a tripod and telephoto lens.

I told here , I´ve my Sony TX-66 ALLWAYS in my pocket (is minimum size) and it is capable of 10x zoom perfect ! No blur at all. The strength of camera zoom is not only the zoom itself but a beautifull OS (for me) and a great camera. With S4 I can leave my Sony (I hope so)

you forget about thickness. Nokia slapped samsung straight in the face. Samsung is a lazy cow. they took a digital camera and put an android in it. Wow, what an effort.

It's not a fandroid thing. I haven't seen anyone defend the design of the S4 Zoom outside of the die-hard Samsung fanboys.

Now that Samsung is so far ahead in sales, I feel like being a Samsung fan would be like being a Toyota fan. What's the point? People are going to buy the appliances anyhow.

Nokia really has no business mocking people for their pocket ability.... They made the two biggest bricks of all time in the N95 and Lumia 920.. Not even Nokia fans can deny that.

wow your still been an idiot the 920 cant be classed as a brick anymore, thanks to samsung you need to stop trolling nokia articles with that old line and go paste the samsung articles with it also if nokia are so bad with there ''brick'' phones why do all you android fans beg nokia to make an android device? will they suddenly not be bricks if they do see your so transparent, first you hate on HTC, now nokia. never happy are you just full of stupid hate

hahaha poor idiot. Nokia is famous for making bricks, that is a fact and Samsung is famous for being accused of going to thin at the expense of battery, yet Samsung still incorporates some of the largest batteries in their products. You don't see a problem with the company that is famous for making bulky phones calling out the company that is famous for going too thin on phones based on size? Come on now, you are an idiot but not even you are that stupid that you don't see a problem with this.

lmao you still show your idiocy everytime you comment first off Nokia are known for pushing mobile camera tech beyond there competitors, there also known for excellent build quality. samsung arent known for making thin phones, samsung arent famous because of thin phones either. there known for packing loads of features and bloatware into there phones. there known for sub par build quality too. whats funny is how you always dodge any questions put to you, you have no answers. you cant accept samsung dropped the ball and you spend your time trying to focus on slating nokia while turning a blind eye to samsungs new brick.....yes i said brick actually if by your logic nokia's are bricks this zoom is what? come on answer

Man, why do I even bother. You are obviously not mentally equipped to have a proper debate. First of all, I do not dodge proper questions, it is just that your questions are so stupid and butt hurt, I do not feel that I have to answer them because they do not help your argument in any way. You just make yourself look like an idiot. I'll humor you on your last question just so you can see how retarded you are though. "also if nokia are so bad with there ''brick'' phones why do all you android fans beg nokia to make an android device?" The reason i ignored this question because it is so stupid and obviously delusional that it is not funny. The simple retort and own-age is that you have it the other ways around. It is Nokia fans that want Android instead of WP8. The evidence suggests that outside of the tech media, people can't care less about Nokia hardware. it is all about Samsung and Apple hardware right now. So if Samsung phones are known to be so poorly built, then why does everyone want them? And pleas do not say something stupid like marketing.

so because you cant answer you throw out crap that others cant debate, your completely one sided so a debate cant be had. only idiot here is you, you prove it over and over so lets put you to rest. first off you love to spin it into just positive for android. you cant stand it that the real fact is android fans beg for nokia to make an android device. many have stated that they would ditch samsung if nokia did this. the real nokia fans havent got tied to an os and are enjoying wp8. they are open to something new. the last part of your comment is plain stupid ''people cant care less about nokia hardware'' yeah i guess the 41mp sensor on the 808 just died and was never mentioned again. please to this day people still rave about it. your trying to imply because samsung and apple have loads of marketing then people dont care about any other company. your also inadvertently iply samsungs success is down to marketing. see if your smart enough to follow that and now the classic fanboy comment. answer this fanboy. you say everybody wants samsung and you imply its because there the best. so the iphone the icon, that must have been the best too right? millions still buy it and according to you sales means best fanboys always equate sales as best when there in there beloved companies favor. and im not going to say its down to marketing as you have already implied it is so thanks any real response?

LOL pathetic. Do you even read your own posts? Wait let me get this straight. Are you actually suggesting that people that whine on phonearena asking for Nokia android phones as some sort of barometer to the quality of Nokia phones? Sorry but that is just retarded, even for your retard standards. Using sales as a barometer isn't perfect but is much better than using phonearena. Especially since with sales data you have sample sizes in the 20 million + for Samsung and Apple. What is the sample size for people on phonearena talking about 41mp cameras and Nokia Android phones? A thousand at best and probably more in the hundreds. Hardly a large enough sample size to truly indicate anything. As for whether or not Nokia fans want Android or vice versa, well there is one thing that heavily suggests that Nokia fans want Android and it's not the other way around. Android is popular and has apps. Nokia is not popular and WP8 has no apps. You see that moron? That is called EVIDENCE. And yes reading the market trends tells us a lot otherwise analysts wouldn't exist. All you spew is garbage with no evidence to support it whatsoever. Androids fans are clamoring for well built Nokia hardware based on some phonearena fanboys? ROFL haha good one.

I'll humor you again but owning you again. "yes i said brick actually if by your logic nokia's are bricks this zoom is what? come on answer" I already gave you a very empirical answer but of course you chose to ignore it like an idiot. First, Nokia is marketing their brick phones against competitors that emphasize thinness and lightness like Apple. Samsung, and Sony. All of their flagships are either 7.6mm thick or 7.9mm thick. Nokia is marketing against them and are willing to go brick mode to have a improved camera while 95% wont even go there. In fact, HTC is the only other company willing to go there. If you are way thicker than 95% of the competition, then your phone is a brick. That is just how it is. Now with the GS4 zoom, it is a niche product and is basically just a more compact version of the Galaxy camera with a 3g antenna. So that would make the GS4 zoom a camera with 3g. Just like how in some parts of asia they have tablets that can make phone calls. They are called tablets with 3g. I hope I educated you on something but I have no hope, because judging from your previous posting history, you are too stupid to follow. haha

are you 12? you have owned no one see your trying your hardest to focus on the so called negatives of other companies while praising samsung, answer this you whine on that samsung are about thinness so why wont you criticize the zoom? why do you dodge this question. also you class the 920 as a brick, you must have a serious bone disease if you find the 920 heavy or big. what about the note 2? that would be a slab acording to your so called logic. thats also real big so why do you never attack that. you see your a fanboy and nothing more, your always on the samsung team slating HTC and nokia. you keep trying to put a positve spin on the zoom but the fact is, this so called phone is against the EOS. if the EOS lives up to rumors theres no competition. then you have the rumored sony entry. but to stay with released devices the 808 beat a galaxy camera, this is as you say just a galaxy camera with 3g (lazy excuse for a new device btw love how you dont criticize that) so its not even a good camera let alone phone. nokia have made ground and brought things to mobiles that werent there before, all samsung has done is grab there galaxy camera put a 3g antenna in and claim its a new device......talk about taking the mick out of there customers your calling me stupid yet ive tore every point you have said and shown you to be another fanboy idiot. besides people already knew you were that when you tried saying the 920 is a bigger brick then the zoom. try harder fanboy

LOL Clueless Nokia fanboys will be clueless Nokia fan boys. I already explained to you as clear as night and day. I am not dodging anything and you are just too clueless to see or choose to ignore my answer which was already stated multiple times. Why should I criticize the GS4 zoom anyways? Am I obligated to or something? haha. You see, it is stupid things like this that make you look like such a babbling idiot. You don't even know what you are talking about and go off topic in a tangent. As for the Lumia 920 being heavy and a brick. It isn't just me with "bone disease." Try every single review and everyone I was with that picked it up. All of my friends and acquaintances that pick it up say that it is HUGE. It is the same weight as the Note 2 and the Note isn't even a smartphone, it is a phablet. that alone tells you how much of a brick the Lumia 920 is. Or at the very least, it shows that Nokia is out of touch with the weight and size the public wants. Which is yet again, more evidence that suggest that Nokia fans want Android rather than the other way around. Again. Why would I criticize the Note 2? It is marketed towards a niche and our entire topic is about Nokia, a fat phone manufacturer, calling out Samsung, a thin phone manufacturer, for making a fat, extremely niche camera phone. This has nothing to do with the thin Note 2. Again, I said nothing about the camera quality of the EOS. I don't care. That is not the point. It could take great pictures for all I know. But again, that doesn't change the fact that it is going to be a brick smart phone competing with thin 7.9mm sleek phones so they shouldn't be calling out anyone about size. Let alone Samsung of all companies. Again, let me makes this crystal clear before you go off topic again about some retarded bulls**t that you tend to do. If any company ever uses all their resources to make a phone with a projector and calls out the Samsung Galaxy beam for being fat, then that is stupid. The same applies here. Especially since Nokia used all of their resources on a flagship while used Samsung used like 1/10 or less on a super niche product.

im sorry but this time i dont see your basis for that, if someone continuely slates HTC and Nokia why is it wrong to put them in there place. plus i never once said nokia are the best or my nokia beats your samsung come one, plus your saying we should come off the playground but you have just joined us then, steeping into something you werent part of and dont take this as an attack on you, its not im just saying

Admittedly I didn't read either side of this rant, I just saw pages upon pages of back and forth and back. I see this behavior over and over in the comments. What's the point? You're trying to "put them in there place", but you know certain people here are never going to let you have the last word. Fanboys will be fanboys.
