Nokia announces a new GSM phone - 6126

Nokia added a GSM phone as well three CDMA ones, during this year's CTIA Wireless tradeshow. The series 40 device 6126 is a slim quad-band GSM/EDGE phone in a clamshell design with integrated in the hinge push-to-open button. It is quite similar to the Nokia 6131, announced at 3GSM earlier this year. The main features include:

  • 2.2 inch QVGA 16.7 million color TFT internal display
  • 262k color external display
  • Bluetooth with wireless stereo support
  • 1.3 mega pixel camera with video capture
  • Music player (MP3, AAC, AAC+, eAAC+ support)
  • microSD memory expansion slot
  • Streaming audio and video support
  • Speaker-independent name dialing

 

Nokia 6126 will be available in black, silver with white, beige or red accents and is expected to hit the market in Q2 2006.
