This is great news for Nokia and Windows Phones, due to the fact that Nokia is getting more brand recognition again and that its phone will be able to run Windows 8. :)

You're right, but i don't think it'll sell millions.

You don't think what will sell millions? Lumia 900? You don't think it has sold a million so far? Even though they staked their future on these devices you believe that they only manufactured 20,000? Surely you cannot even think that. Sold out everywhere the "hero" phone for AT&T and you want to dismiss it because they have not stated a hard number of phones sold. Once they say a number you will be the one saying those are inflated numbers or they gave the phones away. Let Nokia enjoy their moment in the sun. This(Lumia 900) was a job well done for them.

Scared of "other" carriers!

So you guys should chime in and help me out here on deciding on whether I should stick with VZW or consider other options.

ATT is rated low in LA. But they have the best selection of WM phones. So I am not sure if I should wait for VZW or jump ship. Sprint is rated high in LA and my best friend has had Sprint for 3 years and loves it. I talk with him without dropped calls.

Here is a website with LA data. Chime in!

I'd wait until Apollo. It's only 4-6 months, and it looks like Verizon should have a new LTE WP8 phones available. I switched to AT&T in January ago to get a Focus S, it's a great phone by the way. Verizon has better reception in my area than AT&T. With AT&T I get reception everywhere I did with VZ, but it doesn't have the same penetration I used to get with Verizon (like in the basement of buildings). I'll probably upgrade my Focus S to a WP8 phone in the winter. Then when my contract with AT&T is up I'll switch back to Verizon.

Thanks for the feedback. I was heading in this direction. WM8 would be a great stocking stuffer!

Sorry, there no such thing as WM8. Though WM is soon to be dead.

Definitely would prefer the Lumia over GS3. It looks incredible and the metro interface is just game-changing, and different for a change.

I love the GS3 too, but just my opinion.

Read many current articles regarding Nokia stated that Lumia phones aren't selling well. Who's telling the truth and who's the lying troll!

Took too long to roll out the Lumia 900. Still not available in UK or Singapore. Was really waiting to buy it.

WP 8 should be out in 4 1/2 mths. At this point might as well wait for WP 8 devices.

I agree. I know Nokia needs to get a strong sales going here in the U.S., but not releasing the best WP they have in their strongest markets at the same time makes no sense. I have no doubt the 900 would have had a strong showing, maybe even begin to win over some Symbian fans. Now, WP8 will begin to have more and more leaks and the best window of opportunity for the 900 starts to close.

i've tried the lumia 900. an excellent design taken from the mould of the nokia n9 but only bigger. not a fan of windows tiles, but hey, the screen is so responsive, surprising for a single core phone.
