Nokia Lumia 610 will have Wi-Fi hotspot unlike the Nokia Lumia 710 and Nokia Lumia 800
Even though the Nokia Lumia 610 will be the budget model in the Lumia series, it will still have a feature that some of its higher priced brothers don't have. When the Nokia Lumia 610 launches next month, it will have a mobile Wi-Fi hotspot that will allow 5 devices to hook up to Wi-Fi.. The handset will sell for 189 EUR, the equivalent of $255 USD. The flagship model, the Nokia Lumia 900, is equipped with Wi-Fi hotspot capability while the Nokia Lumia 710 and Nokia Lumia 800 are not. Of course, an update in the future could remedy that problem.

The Nokia Lumia 610 offers a 3.7 inch WVGA TFT display with a pixel density of 252 ppi. That should allow users to have no problems reading text on the screen. The budget part of the handset starts with the single core 800MHz processor and the 256MB of RAM. Nokia, as you might have expected, didn't cut back that much on the 5MP rear camera which has a aperture of f/2.2 and captures video in 720p at 30 fps. The camera also has a lot of features such as face detection, white balance, geotagging, panorama and auto focus. An LED flash is also on board. The Nokia Lumia 610 comes out of the box with 8GB of native storage.

While the Nokia Lumia 610 has low-end specs, it is designed for the first time smartphone buyer, or a person who doesn't need all of the power, bells and whistles found on more expensive handsets. It still offers Nokia Maps, Nokia Drive and Nokia Transport which makes it a useful tool right out of the box.
