Nokia Introduces a Game Console
Mobile phone maker Nokia entered a new market on November 4, 2002 (See our news article and First Look) as it unveiled nine new devices, including one that doubles as a game console. The N-Gage, shown here, is the first mobile phone that allows consumers to play quality games, which are stored and distributed on memory cards, on a color screen. (Nokia via Reuters)
