Nokia Car Mode has finally made its way to handsets running the newest version of Symbian - Belle. The car-friendly interface is helpful when you navigate, use Nokia Music, or make voice calls. You can download it from the Nokia Store as we speak, and it has some useful tricks up its sleeve.
There is another version, called Nokia Car Mode with MirrorLink, which is paid and adds MirrorLink support for $25, to hook up and control your car's infotainment system, provided that it supports this connectivity standard.
Unfortunately Nokia Car Mode is only available for handsets on the Symbian Belle platform, so your trusted Nokia N8
or C7 will have to wait a bit more until they get officially updated to the newest Symbian some time this quarter.
