I have the Nokia 9 since 16 March, phone is fast and Android One is nice and smooth. No bloatware or annoying adds, only if you download apps with adds of course. I wish that the bezels were smaller, but i am use to it now. Fingerprint scanner has some issues, didn't work that well. This because the scanner is too small in my opinion. But i played a lot with and and figured it out. If you register your finger register it a bit lower, so if you see the finger animation put your finger a tiny bit lower to register. Mine works fine now. Camera makes nice pictures, i did not have time to play with the LR Camera. With the LR you can adjust the pictures afterwards.

The trick with the scanner, is you actually have to cover the entire scan area and that starts registering better but even then it's still hit and miss. Once I put on the tempered glass screeb protection, it became entirely unusable unless i press really hard. Aside from that, truly love this phone and look forward to receiving updates as they will certainly only make the experience better.

This is awesome. I only wished that it was available for all carriers because I probably would have gotten it now if it was. The fact that it's an Android One phone is even better.

How does it look in real life, especially the back with the 5 camera and also how is the image processing speed? Is it slow enough to cause too much worry? Do you think it's due to the older hardware (SDM 845) or is something that can be fixed with a software update?

From my understanding, the imaging process is slower than other smartphones due to the five cameras snapping the photo at the same time and then sending that information to the co-imaging processor before pushing it to the SD845.

Ok but I'm still hoping that the speed can be increased via a software update

The phone itself is beautiful, very luxurious looking and the cameras look much more discreet compared to images you see of the device online. The device itself is fast and snappy, so you will never have complaints or worries about that. The processing of the images does take time though. At first I thought it would bother me alot but once you see the results, you tend to forget about it and understand why it takes a while. Fortunately, there is an update that should be out very soon, that should make it better. Though, to be very honest, if making the processing time faster means sacrificing on the quality details, we are currently getting, I would actually MUCH prefer waiting longer for processing time. It's like ordering a burger at McDonalds compared to ordering a nice juicy burger at a proper burger joint ...it simply takes a bit more time but the wait is worth it ...come to think of it, here's hoping you're not vegan
