Nokia 6.1 with 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage quietly launches in Europe
The Nokia 6.1 was initially announced back in February at MWC 2018, with sales commencing in April. However, despite confirming the existence of a 4GB of RAM variant with 64GB of internal storage, no release date for the model was confirmed. Now, though, the device is finally available for purchase over in Germany.

Fans of the smartphone looking for the more premium variant can now get their hands on the device in Germany for just over €302, or $355, via retailer ComStern. Additionally, Amazon Germany is also offering the smartphone for the slightly higher price of €323 at the time of writing, which translates to $380. In regards to the shipments, they are expected to commence within the next few days, with Amazon claiming smartphones will begin to arrive on June 19.

For the price, the Nokia 6.1 with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage offers consumers an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 along with a large 5.5-inch display. Additionally, a respectable 3000mAh battery will be keeping the lights on, with the Nokia 6.1 being one of the latest devices to join the Android One program, which means stock Android 8.1 Oreo is included straight out of the box.

Currently, HMD Global is yet to confirm when the upgraded variant will become available in other countries, but considering the recent launches the model has received in both Germany and India, it shouldn’t be too long before the new Nokia 6.1 offering begins appearing at different retailers across the globe.
