Nokia 3.1 goes up for pre-order in the US for $159, shipments begin July 2

The smartphone, which is available in Black, Blue, and White, is currently being offered for $159 with shipments set to begin next month on July 2. The variant being sold appears to be compatible with GSM Networks, which means customers on T-Mobile, AT&T, or MetroPCS, among others, can take advantage of the Android One device.

For the price, HMD Global is offering a 5.2-inch display that adopts the taller 18:9 aspect ratio along with an aluminum frame and a plastic rear shell. On the internal side of things, an octa-core MediaTek 6750 processor is included and coupled with a respectable 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. Rounding out the internal package is a 2990mAh battery and stock Android 8.0 Oreo straight out of the box. When it comes to the camera offerings, a basic 13-megapixel sensor adorns the rear and is coupled with an LED flash, while up front HMD Global has included an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens.

Presently, those interested in the device are able to pre-order it in either Black or Blue. For the moment, however, the White model is still listed as being out of stock but it will likely be up for pre-order too within the next few days.
