Last week, HMD confirmed its cheapest Android smartphone, the Nokia 2 will soon make its debut in the United States. Amazon was one of the first retailers to list the budget-friendly handset on its online store, but the Nokia 2 appears “temporarily out of stock,” which means it's not yet available for purchase.

In the meantime, two other US retailers, Best Buy and B&H have added to the list of Nokia 2 sellers. The good news is both have the smartphone up for purchase, so if you want one, you can order the Nokia 2 right now for $99.

Although it comes unlocked, Nokia 2 will only work on GSM carriers in the country, including AT&T and T-Mobile. For the time being, only the black version of the Nokia 2 is available for purchase in the US, but other color options may arrive in the not so distant future.

Nokia 2 is an entry-level smartphone that ships with Android 7.1.1 Nougat on board. It sports a 5-inch display with HD (720p) resolution, an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera and a secondary 5-megapixel front snapper.

The device is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 212 processor, paired with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal memory. Finally, HMD managed to cram a massive 4,000 mAh battery inside the Nokia 2, so users should get quite a lot of usage time.
