Strangely, the KIN phones will not support push notifications to keep you in constant touch with your friends. They will also lack microSD slots and will have batteries that...

PhoneArena is wrong. Go toWWW.VerizonWireless.com/news and scroll down to the Microsoft link and it will take you to the internal Microsoft unveiling at Redmond headquarters. It tells you that you will receive INSTANT notifications and besides having 4-8gb you photos are INSTANTLY synced to your Kin Suite on your PC. Also not to mention you MUSIC works the same way, store your own personal music up to 8gb or run it straight from ZUNE Marketplace and have access to millions of songs consistantly. Nice try, do a little reading next time phone arena, this is pathetic.

Yeah if it does Cloud Syncing with Microsoft KIN suite thru MS's Live service... who cares about the onboard memory. I have approximately 80gb of storage online thru Microsoft thru Hotmail, Skydrive, and Workspace storage. All cloud, all protected, and all FREE! I can see the on board memory used for things like music and videos, and anything you aren't using sync'd to the cloud.

in all honesty, who is going to stare at their phone ALL day long to see something THE INSTANT it pushes through. Phone arena, you guys love iphones.. they dont instant push either so maybe u should smash n trash ur shiney apple logos. Is 15 minutes really so long? Its actually kind of AVERAGE. And if you know your going to get an email of DIRE importance, you can always just force sync it anyways. What are you complaining about? Besides, this phone is targeted twards facebook loving tweens, not blackberry corperate power users (which is really the only true "instant push" email phones, the rest are on 15-30 min timers as well). Oi.. I really wonder who writes these things sometimes.. LOL

For what it's worth, Android, Windows Mobile, and webOS phones connected to an Exchange server also get instant push. Beyond that, with webOS I also have instant push for Gmail (which is also instant pushed to Android, naturally) and Yahoo. But regarding anything else (Twitter, Facebook, etc.), yeah, 15 minute default, though you can change to 5 min if you really want to drain your battery.

I agree with all of the above, and to prove all of their points I did 5 mins of homework and found a large amount of info on the KIN phones from Microsoft. Do some looking around Arena I could write better articles and find more accurate information than some of your writers. Agreed Remixfa the only true push service is Blackberry and they've been doing it for years no one else comes remotely close to the degree of speed and ease of use than the Blackberry push service. I am honestly looking forward to the w7p and all of the lead up New WIN OS phone software. If they do as good a job with the new phone OS as the they did with WIN7 OS then it will set a new standard for phone function. Here's hoping.
