Niantic announces the next three Community Days for Pokemon GO
Once a month, game developer Niantic holds a Community Day for Pokemon GO players. On that day, a fairly uncommon Pokemon becomes more common for a few hours. Today, Niantic dropped a release revealing the dates for the next three Community Days, and revealing which Pokemon will be the focus of the next one. If you're a Pokemon GO player trying to "Catch em' all," this is the biggest news since Ash's mom started dating Mr. Mime in the television series.

The next Community Day will be held on September 22nd and will focus on Grass-type Pokemon Chikorita. On that date, the pocket monster will be found in the wild for three hours. And during the same three-hour period, if you evolve a Bayleef into Meganium, the latter will know a special move to be announced later. During the event, you also will score triple Catch XP points allowing you to level up quickly.

The three hour periods for different regions are:

The Americas and Greenland: 11:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. PDT (GMT −7).
Asia-Pacific: 12:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. JST (GMT +9).
Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and India: 9:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. UTC (GMT +0).

After next month's Community Day, the next two will take place on Sunday, October 21, and Saturday, November 10. New Pokemon will be featured and there will be new bonuses offered. If you still play Pokemon GO, circle September 22nd, October 21st and November 10th on your calendar.
