Nexus 6 vs Nexus 5: in-depth specs comparison

We're tempted to say that with the Nexus 6, Google is going back to the line's roots -- flagship specs at flagship prices. That's right, for those of you who either don't remember or were altogether unaware, the Nexus line wasn't always sold at as dirt-cheap prices as the Nexus 4 and 5. But with the Motorola-built Nexus 6, Google is not only putting distance between itself and that particular pricing strategy, but it's also going down a yet unexplored path, by building the first Nexus phablet...

Those side images of the phones next to the design section is completely misleading (the same could be said about the cover image). The actual size difference is much more. http://www.phonearena.com/phones/size#/phones/size/Google-Nexus-6,Google-Nexus-5/phones/8626,8148 Just saying.

Good catch. Those side images are definitely not to scale relative to each other. +1

So, another phone review comparison without having the phone on hand? PhoneArena smacks of desperation. Anyways, while the price hike did appall me, it looks like an awesome phone. I hope to see a real review, soon.

10 out of 10 would take Nexus 5 over Nexus 6

Broken logic is broken. Nexus 6 > Nexus 5, to me. Stop speaking for everyone and speak for yourself as an individual. It makes life more fun :)

Dude I am speaking for myself. When did I try to speak for someone else? I personally would prefer to own a Nexus 5 instead of a Nexus 6. That is my own personal opinion. Thanks

You clearly spoke for someone else. You said 10 out of 10. What don't you understand about that? Are you 10 people? This is simple reading comprehension.

Oh good, someone else could read that too. Thanks! :)

10 out of 10= 100%? Where are you getting these other 10 people?

So, in other words, not only is your reading comprehension bad, but your math skills suck too. Damn, you need some help.

Are you actually that stupid?????

You started an account to make such an ignorant comment, but you call me stupid? Comment again when you're ready to talk tech.

That's got to be completely bogus! For instance the Nexus 5 is too small for me & the Nexus 6 IS exactly what I wanted. So it looks like you are VERY wrong here! Google seems to think so also or they would have kept the Nexus 5 size. -1 if I could.

Why -1 this is my personal view. I like the Nexus 5 better because its thinner and smaller. I am not saying everyone should like it better this is just me. so -1 to your comment. Thanks.........

Yet again, as g2a5b0e said above, you said 10/10 would prefer the 5 to the 6. Clearly, you're at least two off counting me and SuperAndroidEvo.

15. g2a5b0e unregistered

Throw me in the mix, too. Nexus 6 > Nexus 5. +1

*7/10. His ratio isn't looking good so far, is it? xD

Not at all.

9/10 would prefer N5, phablets right now have 10% of total sales of all smartphones, in USA its even less to 5%.

Guys those numbers are misleading because the phablet is just the Galaxy Note VS all other smartphones. At what size do we call it a phablet? @ 5.5" or at 5.7"... See what I mean now...

10/10= 10 out of 10= 100%. so i guess ill dumb it down. I would 100% prefer to have the Nexus 5 instead of the Nexus 6

I believe his 10/10 comment was meaning as review scores go. Nexus 5 to him is a 10/10. Such a stupid thing to argue aboe anyway.

Your personal view is flawed when you speak for other people. There are plenty of folks who will buy & appreciate a 5.9" Nexus 6.

Ok... When you SAY 10 out of 10 you are speaking about others NOT yourself. Unless you can clone yourself 9 more times, you are speaking for others! Do you finally follow?
