Newegg's Black Friday deals will include cool Honor 7X, JBL Link View, and Surface Pro 6 discounts
Newegg might not be your go-to place for smartphone purchases around the year, but from time to time, the computer hardware-specialized retailer has some irresistible discounts to offer on various cool mobile devices.
While there aren’t many of those listed in a Black Friday 2018 flyer released earlier today, it’s hard to ignore the upcoming $169.99 Honor 7X bargain. This is already one of the best-reviewed handsets typically available for around $200 unlocked, and even though its sequel should be released stateside soon, the bang for buck remains tough to beat... at 170 bucks.
You’re looking at black, blue, and red 5.9-inchers with a thin-bezeled 2:1 screen, dual rear-facing camera, hefty 3,340 mAh battery capacity, and fluid overall performance.
Of course, the Honor View 10 is even better, packing a top-notch Kirin 970 processor and a whopping 6GB RAM, which would normally set you back $500. But not during Newegg’s Black Friday promotional period, running from November 19 through November 24, when the black and blue unlocked device will only cost $349.99.
A $249 Asus ZenFone 5Q also sounds like a decent enough deal (that we haven’t seen anywhere else just yet), while the Moto G6 is already available at a marked-down price of $200 everywhere you look.
Smart display-loving bargain hunters may also be happy to hear Newegg plans to slash the list price of the JBL Link View by $50 (to $200), and last but certainly not least, Microsoft’s hot new Surface Pro 6 is set to cost $800 with Intel Core i5 inside, 8GB RAM, a 128GB SSD, and a keyboard bundled in. Oh, and a $20 gift card will be thrown in at no extra charge too. Mind you, this is a configuration that typically fetches $900, no keyboard included.
