'Final' iPhone 8 design leak depicts 4mm bezels, tips $1100 release price

It seems that there might be about 4mm bezel all around the 5.8" panel of the soapy-shaped iPhone 8, in order to keep the user from inadvertent edge presses. The cutout at the top middle of the panel will host the physical sensors and cameras that usually reside at the front, while the rest is an active OLED panel to show battery, network, and other info that's found at the very top segment of our screens. Notifications and switches will likely be moved in the bottom "function" area of the display, along with on-screen buttons of sorts...

U r trying to hard. U say it's basically an iPhone 7, then u contradict yourself and say it looks like the S8. So if u do the math iPhone 7 = S8 = iPhone 8. So who is copying who?

I don't like the over curve the S8 more difficult to hold flatter screens more practical aswell like the LG G6

Google Pixel uses S7 edge SAMOLED panel. Iphone 8 will use at least Note 7 quality panel in it's device

That could be a Note8 render. Things look almost identical.

Unfortunately iPhone users dont really have a choice on price unlike Android users they have loads of different manufacturers to choose from, so the price is more realistic.

There’s no phone worth over $600, that being said, if you don’t like the price of the iPhone, just don’t buy it. Shut the f*ck up, buy a s**tty phone and be happy with it. Nobody cares that you have 5,000 words to say about how much you think it’s over priced. Apple created the phone so they can charge what ever they want. When you create something that millions of people want (which will be never) you can give it away for free.

I doubt PRICE will be one of CONS during the review. Low ppi for a 5.5" and lack of stereo for video recording were not included. And if I am not wrong , 4K is separated from HD/FHD. No Con too. But is a con for Sony phones.

Low ppi for a 5.5"? Well it's either a high ppi, or a low, ppi stands for pixels per inch and is independent of screen size.

Other 5.5" screen sized phones: S7 Edge, Pixel XL, U11, XZ Premium , Moto Z, Moto Z Force. XZP has 807ppi and the rest more than 530. Iphone 7+ has less ppi than Moto G4+ ..

Well I can clearly see you're on an another level of derp, so I'll try to explain this once more, read very carefully: PPI IS INDEPENDENT OF SCREEN SIZE. You can have a 2" display with 400ppi or a 12" one with 400ppi, the level of detail will be the same in both. Therefore you can only argue, that a certain phone has a low ppi, but you can't say it has a low ppi for an xx" screen size, because that makes exactly 0 sense.

If it doesn't have a Garage, a Kitchen, 3 Bedrooms, a Master Bedroom/Bathroom, 2 more Bathrooms, Family Room (Living Room), a Dining Room, a spacious Outdoor Patio, Lodging Basment, you know where I'm going with this. It's not worth a thousand dollars, that's an average price of a Mortgage! That's completely Ludicrous!

Costs more than twice what I spend on rent and utilities. For the price of the phone I can have a years worth of cell coverage on an entry level smart phone lol.

Apple makes cheap aluminum phones with large bezels and cheap LCD displays, charge the same or more than Samsung and other premium android phones. They decide to compete and put a good screen in their phone, jack the price several hundred so they can have even better profit margins. And people will buy it up. Renders look like it has a tiny bezel but than a big round edge yet, so not small bezel like Samsung or LG, could just be how the render looks though.

God I wished these Android fanboys would stfu and go back to jacking it to the Note 8. For real, let people buy what they want. If someone has $1,100 to spend on something they enjoy, it's not your place to demean them. Stay in your lane.

It is not about demeaning someone. Do you really think, as a rational consumer, that an iphone or any other phone is really worth $1100 dollars? I do not worry if king of Saudi Arabia pays $10000 for a gold plated iPhone 8. But more people would have bought and enjoyed, iphone and other flagships, if they were sold at lesser price. Still they would be making profits. And what would have apple lost, few billions of dollars in their already gigantic profit books.

Yes, I do. I don't have an iPhone myself, but I know tons that do an they are all quite fiscally responsible.
